Section titled “Dealing, empty hands and the last books”Two players receive seven cards each; three or four receive five each. Ask only for a rank you hold and from a player who still has cards. A successful request transfers every matching card and keeps your turn; fishing the requested rank also keeps it. An empty hand draws one on its next turn, or is skipped with an empty stock. Four of a rank becomes a book automatically. The game ends with thirteen books, or an empty stock and at most one nonempty hand. Most books wins; a leading tie is a draw.
