Your two plus the table’s five
Section titled “Your two plus the table’s five”
Keep your two cards secret. Share the five table cards. Choose your strongest five from all seven.

Here your ace and king join the table's queen, jack and ten. Together they make a straight.
Start with matching ranks
Section titled “Start with matching ranks”
No matching group, straight or flush? Your highest card leads. This hand is ace high.

Two cards of the same rank beat any high-card hand. Here the two kings form a pair.
Bigger matching groups
Section titled “Bigger matching groups”
Two separate pairs beat one pair. Here you have two kings and two eights.

Three cards of one rank beat two pair. These three queens are the matching group.
Lines and matching suits
Section titled “Lines and matching suits”
Five ranks in a row beat three of a kind. Suits may differ. An ace can be low in A-2-3-4-5.

Five cards of one suit beat a straight. They do not need to be in rank order.
The rare matching hands
Section titled “The rare matching hands”
Three of one rank plus two of another beat a flush. Here: three sevens and a pair of kings.

All four cards of one rank beat a full house. The fifth card is a helper called a kicker.
The strongest hand
Section titled “The strongest hand”
Five ranks in a row, all one suit, beat everything else. A-king-queen-jack-ten is the highest one.

Same kind of hand? Compare the matching ranks, then the remaining cards from highest to lowest.
Pay to stay in the hand
Section titled “Pay to stay in the hand”
Check when you owe nothing. Call pays what you owe to match the bet. Fold gives up this hand.

Raise sets a higher total bet. All-in puts your remaining chips at risk; it cannot cost more than you have.
The shared cards arrive in stages
Section titled “The shared cards arrive in stages”
After the opening bets: reveal three cards, then one, then one. Players may bet after each reveal.

Two players post the small and big blind to start the pot. The dealer button moves for the next hand.
An all-in can make separate pots
Section titled “An all-in can make separate pots”
A puts in 50, B puts in 150, C puts in 100. All three can win the 150-chip main pot.

B and C contest another 100. B's unmatched 50 comes back. A cannot win those extra chips.
Win chips, then start the next hand
Section titled “Win chips, then start the next hand”
The strongest eligible hand wins each pot. Folded hands cannot win. Identical best-five hands split it.

Choose Next hand after the result. Players with no chips sit out. The last player with chips wins.
Rules in more detail
Section titled “Rules in more detail”Raise amounts, all-ins and showdown
Section titled “Raise amounts, all-ins and showdown”Starting stacks are one thousand game chips, with opening blinds of ten and twenty. These are match counters, separate from inventory prizes. A raise sets your total contribution for that betting round, rather than adding that amount to the previous bet. A full raise must meet the minimum; a shorter all-in has different effects on remaining betting rights. At showdown, use the best five cards from your two private cards and the five community cards, including using neither private card. Unequal all-ins create separate pot portions; a player can win only portions they contributed to. Shared best hands split the relevant pot.
Keep playing
Section titled “Keep playing”Use Rematch after the result to play again. To pause an unfinished match, the table owner can remove and keep its board.
